Ihyaul Insan: Journal of Communication Studies (JII) is published by STIT Insan Kamil Bogor and is dedicated to advancing communication studies that foster and revitalize human potential (ihyā’ al-insān) through the production, dissemination, and transformation of knowledge that is humanistic, ethical, and beneficial to society. The journal welcomes original research articles in various fields of communication studies in accordance with its focus and scope and is published biannually, in April and October. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process and originality screening to ensure the scholarly quality of the publication. At present, Ihyaul Insan does not charge any submission or article processing fees and is therefore free of charge. Prior to submission, authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s template and author guidelines and to provide all documents required by the journal.

Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your manuscript to Ihyaul Insan: Journal of Communication Studies (JII):

Ensure that your manuscript is prepared using the official JII Article Template.
Manuscripts must conform to the journal's Author Guidelines and be within the journal's Focus and Scope.
References should consist of at least 15 sources, with a minimum of 80% published within the last five years, and should primarily be derived from scholarly journal articles.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use a reference management application such as Mendeley, and all citations must follow APA Style (7th Edition).
Every submitted manuscript will undergo a Turnitin similarity check. The maximum acceptable Similarity Index is 20%.
Authors are required to complete all metadata accurately during the submission process and upload any supplementary files requested by the journal.
All manuscripts are subject to desk review, double-blind peer review, and revision before an editorial decision is made.
A Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will be issued only after the manuscript has successfully passed the review process and has been formally accepted for publication.
Authors are encouraged to monitor the progress of their submissions through the Open Journal Systems (OJS). For further information, they may contact the Editorial Office via the journal's official email.
