Focus and Scope
Focus: Ihyaul Insan: Journal of Communication Studies is dedicated to advancing communication studies that foster and revitalize human potential (ihyā’ al-insān) through the production, dissemination, and transformation of humanistic, ethical, and socially beneficial knowledge, grounded in local wisdom and religious values.
Scope: Islamic communication and da‘wah; media, journalism, and digital culture; educational, organizational, intercultural, and interreligious communication; communication ethics and media literacy; community empowerment; and historical, philosophical, and intellectual studies of communication.
