Ihyaul Insan: Journal of Communication Studies (JII) is a scholarly journal published by STIT Insan Kamil Bogor, dedicated to advancing communication studies that foster and revitalize human potential (ihyā’ al-insān) through the production, dissemination, and transformation of knowledge that is humanistic, ethical, and socially beneficial. The journal welcomes contributions in the areas of Islamic communication and da‘wah; media, journalism, and digital culture; educational, organizational, intercultural, and interreligious communication; communication ethics and media literacy; community empowerment; and historical, philosophical, and intellectual studies of communication. The journal is published in both online and/or print formats twice a year, in April and October.
Authors are expected to submit manuscripts that have been thoroughly proofread and carefully revised. Prior to submission, manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the journal template and author guidelines. Adherence to the prescribed format and style will facilitate an efficient review and publication process. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s submission requirements will not be considered for further processing.
